Sheila has served the Skelton Township Trustee’s Office since 2000, fulfilling the duties of Trustee and Clerk/Investigator. During her tenure, the Skelton–Owen Fire Territory was established, significant improvements were made to the Owen Township Fire Station, and multiple pieces of fire apparatus were acquired through both public funding and grant awards.

From 2004 to 2020, Sheila served as Executive Director of the Susan G. Komen Evansville Tri-State Affiliate. In this role, she developed extensive expertise in public speaking, fundraising, grant writing, financial and budget management, public reporting, recordkeeping, fund appropriation, resource allocation, and communicating effectively with individuals across all economic and educational backgrounds.

Sheila currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Dubois–Pike–Warrick Economic Opportunity Committee, Inc. (dba TRI-CAP), Vice President of the Community Outreach Ministry, and President of the Gamma Iota Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc., where she has been a member for more than 20 years. Although she retired from full-time work in the nonprofit sector in 2024, Sheila continues her commitment to public service and volunteers her time and talents with numerous organizations.

Her goal is to engage residents, listen closely, and make thoughtful use of limited resources to protect and enhance the values and standards of small-town living.

Sheila and her husband, Tim, live in Boonville. They are the proud parents of two married sons and doting grandparents to three beautiful grandchildren.
